With “moral quality-first, foundation-strengthened, capability-intensified, well-adaptive” as the core of its education philosophy, SPA-SCUT attaches great importance to promote students’ comprehensive capabilities. Annually, the school recruits 1087students at all levels, with 442 undergraduate students, 118 full-time graduate students, 58 in-service graduate students and 410 MPA students respectively. Besides, we school also enroll a number of international students from Togo, Laos, etc. During their college times, students are vigorously involved in studying and social works, attaining great achievements in various realms: students’ survey report won the “Special Prize” of National Challenge Cup Academic Championship 2009 (sponsored the Ministry of Education); student representative was invited to deliver speech in 2010 Harvard Asia Business Conference; MPA student won the Top Price for International volunteer; and several students won the records in a serious of sport races at international. national and provincial levels ( e. g. Champion of World Swimming Championship 2009). Nowadays, graduates from the school are playing important roles in both local and central government, while others are constructively engaged in the activities of enterprises and non-profit organizations. All in all, there is a well-accepted evaluation from various employers goes that our graduates are competent in an all-round way and also are of competitiveness in career development.
