On November 25, 2025, at the AMBA & BGA Asia-Pacific Annual Conference held in Bali, Indonesia, the School of Business Administration at South China University of Technology (SBA-SCUT) was officially awarded its AMBA reaccreditation certificate.

Since first earning AMBA accreditation in 2012, SBA-SCUT has now successfully secured the third-reaccreditation, underscoring its sustained excellence and international standing in MBA and EMBA education.
From June 9 to 10, 2025, an international Peer-Review Team (PRT) from AMBA accreditation conducted an on-site review of SBA-SCUT. The PRT was chaired by Prof. Steef van de Veld, Chair of the AMBA & GBA International Accreditation Advisory Board. The members included Prof. Gulnara Kurenkeyeva, Rector of Almaty Management University, Prof. Wang Zhongming, AMBA & BGA’s China Advisor and former Executive Dean of the School of Management at Zhejiang University, and Mr. George Liev, Director of Accreditation for China and Director of Strategy & Innovation at AMBA & BGA.
The PRT commended the school’s remarkable progress and achievements, highlighting that its MBA and EMBA programs not only demonstrate strong disciplinary advantage and distinctive educational features but also consistently maintain a high standard of teaching quality. In addition, the PRT provided valuable recommendations on the sustainable development of the programs. Their feedback offered critical insights to further refine the School’s strategic planning.
