Research Achievement

Mi Zhou, associate professor, doctoral supervisor, Schmidt Qihang Scholar, assistant to the dean, mainly engaged in teaching and scientific research in geotechnical engineering, including marine geotechnical engineering and traditional geotechnical engineering. According to the national development needs, carry out basic application research in the field of geotechnical engineering. In terms of vertical projects, he has presided over 7 scientific research projects, including the general project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the general project of the Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province, the project of the Department of Natural Resources of Guangdong Province, the Central University Fund and the Open Fund of Key Laboratories. In terms of social production services, he has participated in some major geotechnical projects in South China, including the construction demonstration of China's first floating offshore wind power foundation and the risk assessment of the Pearl River Delta Intercity Rail Transit Guangfo Ring Line Project as the project leader. In terms of scientific research papers,He has published more than 40 papers in internationally renowned SCI journals of geotechnical engineering and ocean engineering, such as Geotechnique, Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering, Canadian Geotechnical Journal, Computers and Geotechnics, International Journal of Geomechanics, ICE Geotechnical Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Applied Ocean Research, and Marine Georesource & Geotechnology. And also published more than 10 EI papers in Geomechanics and Harbin Institute of Technology Journal. At present, He has trained 2 doctoral students and 3 master's students in the fields of civil engineering, hydraulic engineering and ocean engineering. There is 1 postdoctoral fellow and 14 graduate students.
