Tian Xiang, male, holds a doctorate, is an associate professor and a master's supervisor. Master of Science in Applied Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence Direction; Doctor of Engineering in Systems Engineering. He used to be the deputy director of the Big Data Research Center of the School of Mathematics at South China University of Technology. Currently, he is employed at South China University of Technology as the director of the Big Data Technology Department of the 'Human Data Perception Engineering Center' of the Ministry of Education. The main research directions are artificial intelligence, big data analysis, and smart wearable devices. Has presided over two major provincial and ministerial science and technology projects and one major provincial and ministerial industry-university-research cooperation project. As a key contributor (top three), I participated in three projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and four provincial science and technology research projects. More than 30 patents have been applied for, including 5 invention patents, 12 utility model patents and 1 design patent. Obtained more than 10 software Copyrights; More than 40 first-author papers have been published in international conferences and core journals, with over 20 of them indexed by EI and ISTP.
