    The program of Artificial Intelligence takes advantage of the local industrial resources in electrics and information, pivots around industrial needs to develop an inter-disciplinary education approach. With an eye on the latest of the industry and introducing innovation from industry into university, we aim to build a channel between talent-cultivation and industrial knowledge creation. Through the provision of rich experiment courses and hands-on practice courses, we are dedicated to producing top talents with innovation skills and global outlook that caters to the needs of future AI technology developments.

    The program of Data Science and Big Data Technology relies on the advantages of the big data industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, closely focuses on the industrial demand, highlights the cutting-edge development of the big data industry, further promotes the interdisciplinary, and cultivates high-level international elite talents of big data with international vision.
  • EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
    Artificial Intelligence
    The Artificial Intelligence (AI) program aligns with the national AI development strategy,grasps on the historical opportunities in global AI advancement and connects the information industry development needs of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Its goal is to cultivate AI leaders who excel in all aspects of character development with solid professional knowledge, including moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic, and labor skills, as well as instilling a sense of national pride and a global perspective. These leaders possess outstanding "three powers" (learning power, thinking power, and action power) and are capable of international cooperation and competition, embodying the "three creative abilities" (innovation, creation, and entrepreneurship).
    Data Science and Big Data Technology
    This program is oriented to the national big data development plan, connects the high-quality development of the national digital economy and the development needs of the big data industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, which aims to cultivate the all-round development of morality, intelligence, physique and Three creative (innovation, creation and entrepreneurship) outstanding data science and big data technology leading talents with solid professional knowledge and comprehensive ability of data science and big data technology, national feelings and global vision, excellent "three strengths" (learning ability, thinking ability and action power), and competent for international cooperation and competition.

They will be capable of engaging in AI research, design, development, and management, driving innovative applications of AI technology in industries such as the internet, healthcare, finance, education, transportation, and energy. Within approximately five years after graduation, they will emerge as innovative technology leaders, key engineering managers, and professional market pioneers in the field of artificial intelligence.
    Data Science and Big Data Technology
    After four years of study, graduates can engage in big data research, design, development and management in enterprises, scientific research departments, universities and institutions, and promote the innovative application of big data technology in Internet, health, finance, education, transportation, energy and other related industries. Within five years after graduation, he will become an innovative technology leader, important engineering manager and professional market pioneer in the field of big data.
