Personal Profile

Tian Xiang, male, Ph.D., Associate Professor, and Master's Supervisor. He received an M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence (Applied Mathematics) and a Ph.D. in Systems Engineering. He previously served as Deputy Director of the Big Data Research Center at the School of Mathematics, South China University of Technology, and is currently with South China University of Technology, serving as Director of Big Data Technology at the Ministry of Education's Engineering Research Center for Human Data Perception.His main research interests include artificial intelligence, big data analytics, and smart wearable devices. He has served as Principal Investigator on two major provincial/ministerial-level science and technology projects and one key industry-university-research collaboration project. As a core participant (ranked among the top three contributors), he has been involved in three National Natural Science Foundation of China projects and four provincial science and technology key projects.He has filed over 30 patent applications, with 5 invention patents, 12 utility model patents, and 1 design patent granted. He also holds more than 10 software copyrights. He has published over 40 first-author papers in international conferences and core academic journals, more than 20 of which are indexed by EI and ISTP.
