For engineering master's degree students without 2 years of enterprise work experience, the professional practice period shall not be less than 1 year.

After completing the professional practice, students must write and submit a professional practice report, which will be assessed separately by the practice base and the university. Those who fail the assessment must retake the practice.

(2) Technical Lectures

Before defending their dissertation (graduation thesis), full-time professional master's students must attend more than 5 technical lectures and fill in the "South China University of Technology Graduate Student Technical Lecture Attendance Assessment Form" for each lecture.

7. Academic Achievement Requirements

The requirements for academic achievements for graduation and degree application shall be implemented in accordance with the "Basic Requirements for Academic Achievements of Graduate Students During Their Studies" and the "Relevant Provisions on the Basic Requirements for Academic Achievements of Master's Students in the School of Electronics and Information for Degree Application" of the corresponding academic year.

8. Topic Proposal

The topic proposal for master's students shall generally be completed before the start of the 3rd semester. Specific requirements shall be implemented in accordance with the relevant provisions of the university's "Measures for the Administration of Graduate Dissertation (Graduation Thesis) Work" and "Measures for the Administration of Graduate Training Process".
