张鑫，博士，教授，华南理工大学电子与信息学院人工智能系副主任。本科毕业于西北工业大学自动化学院，硕士博士毕业于美国俄克拉荷马州立大学（Oklahoma State University）电子与计算机学院。之后赴美国北卡罗莱纳州立大学教堂山分校 (University of North Carolina, at Chapel Hill (UNC))医学院IDEA实验室访学。
主要研究领域包括人工智能、计算机视觉、医学数据分析和多模态大模型等。主持多项国家自然科学基金、广东省科技计划基金，广东省自然科学基金面上项目、广州市创新科研基金、腾讯及微软研究院等项目，参与多项科技部重点研发计划项目等。目前已在IEEE T-MI，MIA，IEEE T-NNLS, IEEE T-MM, NeuroImage, ICCV, AAAI, MICCAI等顶级期刊和会议上发表高水平学术论文近百篇，2024年获广东省科技进步一等奖。
现任中国医学图像计算青年研讨会（MICS）委员、中国计算机学会计算机视觉专业委员会和数字医学委员会委员、中国人工智能学会模式识别专业委员会委员、广东省图象图形学会理事及副秘书长等。
Xin Zhang is Ph.D., Professor, and Deputy Director of the Department of Artificial Intelligence, School of Electronic and Information Engineering, South China University of Technology.
She received her B.Eng. degree from the School of Automation, Northwestern Polytechnical University, and her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Oklahoma State University, USA. She subsequently conducted research as a visiting scholar at the IDEA Laboratory, School of Medicine, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC), USA.
Her main research interests include artificial intelligence(AI), computer vision, and intelligent processing and analysis of medical data. She has led numerous projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Program, General Program of Guangdong Natural Science Foundation, Guangzhou Innovation Research Fund, as well as projects supported by Tencent and Microsoft Research. She has also participated in several Key Research and Development Programs of the Ministry of Science and Technology. To date, she has published nearly 100 high-level academic papers in top-tier journals and conferences such as IEEE T-MI, MIA, IEEE T-NNLS, IEEE T-MM, NeuroImage, ICCV, AAAI, and MICCAI. In 2024, she was awarded the First Class Prize of Guangdong Science and Technology Progress Award.
She currently serves as a Committee Member of the Medical Image Computing Youth Symposium (MICS), a member of the Technical Committee on Computer Vision and the Technical Committee on Digital Medicine of the China Computer Federation (CCF), a member of the Technical Committee on Pattern Recognition of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI), and Director and Deputy Secretary-General of the Guangdong Society of Image and Graphics.
