On December 16, 2024, at the Council meeting held by the European Academy of Sciences and Arts, Professor Zhu Jizhong was elected as the academician of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts (Faculty of Technology and Environmental Sciences).

Academician Zhu Jizhong is a national high-level talent of South China University of Technology. He has made remarkable achievements in the research fields of integrated intelligent energy system optimization and coordinated control, intelligent planning and operation technology of all-digital power distribution system, and efficient and low-carbon operation of new power systems. He has been active in the international academic exchange arena for a long time, and is committed to promoting China's technological ideas and practical experience to the world, promoting scientificand technological innovation, and won the IEEE International Standard Grand Medal Award for his outstanding contributions.
