On February 14, the delegation from China Resources Power Holdings Co., LTD. (referred to as CR Power) visited Electric Power Engineering School for exchanges, focusing on cooperative projects, scientific research platforms and achievements. The exchange meeting was chaired by Professor Xue Ying (Vice President of School of ExcellenceEngineers).

Xue Ying warmly welcomed the delegation of CR Power. He briefly introduced the early background of the cooperation between South China University of Technology and CR Power, the participants, the mainbackground of the symposium and the meeting arrangement. Li Xianzhang, deputy general manager of South China Regional Headquarters of CR Power, introduced the basic situation of CR Power, the strategy of joint training of high-leveltalents by schools and enterprises.

Experts in relevant fields of the two sides focused on relevant cooperation projects, scientific research platforms, achievements and other directions, fully exchanged and discussed on the blockchain technology, submarine cables, fan deicing, power equipment fault diagnosis and other fields of technology, and proposed that the submarine cable capacity measures, grounding of the submarine cable line and thermal bottleneck restrictions need to be further in-depth discussion.
