Ji Tianyao

Dr. Tianyao Ji received a B.Eng. degree in Information Engineering in 2003, a B.A. degree in English in 2003 and an M.Sc. degree in Signal and Information Processing in 2006 from Xi'an Jiaotong University, Xi'an, China. In 2009, she obtained the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering and Electronics from University of Liverpool, Liverpool, U.K. From 2010 to 2011, she worked as a research associate in University of Liverpool. She is now an associate professor at School of Electric Power Engineering, South China University of Technology, Guangzhou, China. Her research interests include mathematical morphology, signal and information processing, evolutionary computation, and their application in power systems.
