SCUT has developed master degree program for exchange student with the Graduate School of Engineering of the University of Nantes. Each year on Sep, there are 5 choosen year 1 or 2 postgraduate students sent to the University of Nantes for exchange study. After finish 1 year study in France and meet the requirement of postgraduate, student is awarded a certification of master degree from the University of Nantes. Normally, 2 year study are required for master degree in the University of Nantes( 3 semesters for course, 1 semester in practice). With the cooperation of exchange program, the University of Nantes allows student who finished year 1 in SCUT take the semester 2 of master course directly, which includes 1 semester of course and 1 semester in practice. When the program finish, in order to award certification of master degree from SCUT, students are required for presentation and met the postgraduate requirement.

During the exchange program, fee is required both in SCUT and the University of Nantes(4000 euro included insurance). Rent: about 2500 Euro/year, life of cost: 2000 Euro/year, transportation: 700 Euro/year(chinese student can apply for allowences for rent and insurance as same as local student)
requirements:
a. relevence certification of undergraduate degree in electric power
b. year 1 or year 2 student in SCUT about electric power
c. basic of french for daily life is required

student who interested in must submit all documentations to office of administration before October of each year.
