The School of Electronics and Information Technology organized a total of 65 teams to participate, and 32 teams won awards. Among them, there was 1 national first prize, 4 national second prizes, 7 first prizes in Guangdong Province (the teams that won national prizes also received first prizes in Guangdong Province), 5 second prizes, and 20 third prizes. The scale of participation and the number of awards won have both achieved significant growth. Especially, the national first prize marked a breakthrough for our school in this competition in nearly 16 years.
The achievement of this competition result is inseparable from the strong support of the school's academic affairs office and the college. Before the competition, the experimental center of the Electronic and Information College carried out the preparatory work in an orderly manner, actively organizing students to sign up before the competition. A 19-person coaching team was formed, with Zhang Linli and Wang Yun serving as the team leaders, and systematic training was carried out. Five laboratories were opened to provide students with all-round support. Under the careful guidance of the instructors, the participating teachers and students of our school fully utilized the summer vacation time and actively devoted themselves to the preparation for the competition, constantly overcoming difficulties and striving for excellence. The instructors Lai Lijuan, Deng Hongbo, Li Lei, etc., the team leaders, and Mr. Lv Yiheng always remained at the forefront of the competition, providing students with all-round technical guidance, power, network support, and logistical support, coordinating and solving the needs of each participating team in terms of training materials and equipment. The college's deputy leader also participated in the provincial competition and assessment and other aspects throughout the process.
