浏览次数:10May 23-25, 2025 – The 5th International AcademicConference on Electronics, Circuits, and Information Engineering (ECIE 2025)was successfully held at the Hongde International Hotel in Guangzhou. Initiatedin 2021 by Saigon University and the AEIC Academic Exchange Center, ECIE hasbecome an annual international forum in the fields of electronics, circuits,and information engineering, fostering academic exchange and collaborationamong scholars. Since its inception, the conference has been held in Zhengzhou,Xiamen, Suzhou, Hangzhou, and other cities.

This year's conference was hosted by South ChinaUniversity of Technology (SCUT), with co-organization from the PowerDispatching and Control Center of Guangdong Power Grid Co., Ltd., GuangdongElectric Power Communication Technology Co., Ltd., and the AEIC AcademicExchange Center. The conference chairs were Professor Tang Jie, Vice Dean ofSCUT’s School of Electronics and Information, and Professor Zhang Xiuyin,Executive Vice Dean of the School of Microelectronics. The program committeechair was Researcher Zheng Beixiong, while the organizing committee chair wasProfessor Wen Miaowen. Associate Professors Yang Cui, Xiang Youjun, and TangJianhua served as publication chairs.

Atthe opening ceremony, Professor Xue Quan, Dean of SCUT’s School of Electronicsand Information, warmly welcomed the attending leaders, experts, and guests.Dean Xue emphasized that the university would seize this opportunity to furtherpromote industry-academia collaboration, deepen university-enterprisepartnerships, and jointly drive innovation and progress in information science.Professor Zheng Beixiong from SCUT chaired the morning session, which featuredkeynote speeches by distinguished scholars, including Professor Zhang Rui fromthe National University of Singapore and The Chinese University of Hong Kong(Shenzhen), Professor Huang Jijie from University College London, ProfessorZhang Yingjun from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Professor LuJiangang from the Power Dispatching and Control Center of Guangdong Power GridCo., Ltd. Their insightful presentations on cutting-edge research providedattendees with a high-level and forward-looking academic feast.
Theafternoon sessions were divided into two parallel tracks, featuring invitedtalks and oral presentations. Invited speakers included Professor Yang Yulifrom Soochow University, Engineers Shi Zhan and Zhang Peiming from GuangdongPower Grid, and Professor Xing Hong from The Hong Kong University of Scienceand Technology (Guangzhou). The sessions fostered vibrant academic discussions,with active participation from scholars and experts.
During the oral presentation sessions, over 20scholars from leading institutions such as Southeast University, University ofElectronic Science and Technology of China, National University of DefenseTechnology, Sun Yat-sen University, Soongsil University, Shenzhen University,and Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications shared their latestresearch findings. The discussions centered on cutting-edge topics, injectingnew momentum into the advancement of related fields.
A highlight of this year’s conference was theintroduction of Best Paper and Outstanding OralPresentation awards. After rigorous evaluation, five Best Paper awardsand four Outstanding Oral Presentation awards were granted. This initiative notonly showcased the exceptional research achievements of participants but alsounderscored the conference’s high academic standards, further inspiringinnovation and enthusiasm among attendees.
The successful hosting of ECIE 2025 in Guangzhouhas strengthened international academic exchange in electronics, circuits, andinformation engineering while providing a valuable platform for technologicalinnovation. The conference laid a solid foundation for future researchcollaboration, project partnerships, and talent exchange, expanding the globalacademic network. Looking ahead, we anticipate more opportunities forcollaboration to advance scientific progress and contribute to societaldevelopment.
