On the afternoon of September 14, Chen Yan, the secretary of the party committee of the School of Electronics and Information Engineering, host a conference on the construction of the party building. The organizers of the College, as well as the secretaries and members of the Party branch of the faculty and labour, attended the meeting.

Secretary Chen Yan conveyed the school's recent work arrangements for party building and reiterated the requirements of the Three Meetings and One Lesson and Themed Party Day in the document Strict Party Organizational Life Regulations of South China University of Technology and mobilize all branches to actively develop faculty members. At the meeting, the organizers teached the operation of the life platform of the organization and arranged the study contents of the Party branch for the 60th anniversary of the Radio Electronics Department Radio Electronics Department, thematic theoretical study in September, discipline education monthly activity study which demanded all the Party branches conscientiously organize their members to study. Afterwards, they started a positive discussion, exchanged views on the recent party building work, and put forward good suggestions.
