Yiannis From the British Royal Academy of Engineering Visits South China University of Technology

On Nov. 15^th , 2017 , Professor Yiannis , academician of the Royal Academy of Engineering , and his wife visited South China University of Technology . Yu Qijun, deputy secretary of the school, met with guests. Related person from personnel department, international exchange office and international campus, and professor Xue Quan, dean of the telecommunications institute, attended the meeting.

At the meeting, deputy secretary Yu Qijun first introduced the basic situation of the school, especially the preparations for the construction of International Campus and future construction planning. Professor Yiannis made a detailed explanation for his research field and future research plans. The two sides discussed the feasibility of further strengthening scientific research cooperation, international exchange and talent introduction.
