The faculty meeting of School of Electronic Information was held in the lecture hall of Shaos Humanities Building.

The conference was presided by the college's party committee, Yan Chen. Each leader of college made a speech in his field of work. Dean Quan Xue made a report titledPursuing Excellence and Crossing Development, in which he analyzed present situation and years of development of college.He said that we have had a excellent team of teachers, outstanding students and many goodacademic basic platforms of scientific research and teaching. The college was also equipped with developed disciplines and rich alumni resources. At present, the electronic information subject is the focal point of the strategic deployment of national provinces and cities and has an unprecedented opportunity brought by national Double First-rate construction plan and school international campus construction. In the wave of historical development, we also faced many challenges, such as competition Inside and outside of the industry, competition in source and subject evaluation. While facing these challenges, our development had many weaknesses, such as Insufficient research space, experimental condition restriction, lack of large representative work groups, exhibition of external image and scientific research funds.
