Lijuan Lai has won awards at the 4th national basic course of electrical and electronic of Ding Yang Cup competition

The 4th national basic course of electrical and electronic of experiment teaching case design competition (Ding Yang Cup) was held at Tianjing University from May 6thto 7th . The competition was hosted by the Teaching Guidance Committee of Ministry of electrical and electronic basic courses of Education Ministry, and nearly 100 colleges and universities nationwide participated the competition.

After a preliminary round of intense competition, Lijuan Lai’s project, Series of Experiments in Troubleshooting of Electronic Circuit Based on APM Theory, entered the finals. In the final defense, Lijuan Lai presented to the Committee in perspective of the background of the topics, experimental design ideas, implementation process, and teaching effectiveness, etc. The presentation received favorable comments from the Committee experts, and won the second prize.

Series of Experiments in Troubleshooting of Electronic Circuit Based on APM Theory is one of the projects in the Analog Electronic Circuit Experiment course. The purpose of the project is to train the students’ capability in circuit troubleshooting, to promote the combination between theory and experiment, and to strengthen the capability in solving real problems by combining the virtual simulation and hardware measurement in process design, applying fault diagnosis and restoration theory with the guiding principles of “Analysis(A), Planning(P) and Measurement(M)”, and using fault circuit in typical electronic circuit as a carrier.

This was the second time from our school to participate the contest. The contest was warmly supported by the university and the school. On the one hand, this competition showed the achievements of the experimental team in the experimental teaching reform; on the other hand, it promoted the communication between our experimental team and other participating teams. It has expanded the influence of our university in other fellow universities. This is of great positive significance for further improving the quality of practice teaching and promoting discipline construction in our school.
