A new national engineering research center is founded in SEIE

Recently, SCUT has been authorized, by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, to found the National Engineering Research Center for Mobile Ultra-Sonic Detection. The new center is the third national engineering research center managed by SCUT. Led by Prof. Wei, this center has the total investment of 38,000,000 RMB, it focuses on the research in mobileultrasonic detection including ultrasonic technique, near field ultra-high rate data transmission, imaging and recognition etc. It is expected to develop high-performance products serving in high-speed rail detection, underwater detection, medical health care etc.
