Introduction:

Prof. Fengzhang Xue was born in Ji’an, Jiangxi, China, in 1963. He received the B.Sc. degree from Xidian University, Xi’an, China, in 1983, and received M.Sc. degree from Nanjing Research Institute of Electronic Technology, Nanjing, Jiangsu, China, in 1986. In June 1986, he joined the National Key Laboratory of Antenna & Microwave Technology in Nanjing Research Institute of Electronic Technology, first as an Engineer, and then in 1992 he became a Senior Engineer. He was promoted to the rank of Professor in 1997. In 1999, he joined South China University of Technology as a full Professor. He has taught “Digital Communication Principles” courses for undergraduate and “Antennas for Mobile Communications” for postgraduate. His current research interests include RF & Microwave Components and Antennas in Mobile Communications. He was the co-author of “RF Engineering in Cellular Mobile Communications”.
