I. Program Objectives
Leveraging the engineeringbackground of South China University of Technology and integrating thedisciplinary resources of the school and the entire university, the cultivationof professional master's degree students is a highlight of the graduate educationin the department of Electronic Business. This program cultivates individualswho have mastered the basic principles of Marxism, the theoretical system ofsocialism with Chinese characteristics, and Xi Jinping Thought on Socialismwith Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. They will possess good politicalqualities and professional ethics, and grasp systematic and complete theoriesand methods of modern engineering management, as well as professionaltechniques and knowledge in logistics and supply chain engineering and digitalcommerce. They will be able to independently undertake work such as theplanning and design of various logistics systems, model innovation, systemoptimization, operations management, evaluation, and digital commerce. The programaims to produce high-level, interdisciplinary talents in logistics and supplychain engineering management and digital commerce, equipped with excellentleadership and a broad international perspective.
II. Duration of Study
The duration of study (includingsuspension) for three-year master's students shall not exceed 5 years.

IV. Training
Professional master's degreestudents are primarily trained through a combination of coursework,professional practice, and a degree (graduation) thesis. Coursework shouldgenerally be completed within 1 year, practical teaching should be no less than6 months, and the time from thesis proposal to defense should generally be noless than 12 months.
A dual-supervisor system (internaland external) is implemented. The internal (university) supervisor providesprimary guidance, while the external (industry) supervisor participates inguiding practical processes, project research, courses, and the thesis.
Full-time professional master'sstudents should develop their study plan under the guidance of their supervisorwithin two weeks of enrollment.
