Dr. Gu earned a Ph.D. in Maritime Logisticsand Maritime Economics from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore.She is currently an Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor in theDepartment of Electronic Business at South China University of Technology. Herprimary research interests encompass strategic choices in shipping energy,sustainable supply chain development, port supply chain resilience, portvulnerability, shipping finance, blockchain in shipping, shipping economics andlogistics, sustainable development of green ports, multimodal transportdevelopment in ports, multimodal transport of dangerous goods in port areas,port clusters, strategic port choices under the Belt and Road Initiative, andport development strategies for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater BayArea.
