His research areas include Information Systemsand Management, Business Process Management and Process Mining, E-Commerce andBusiness Intelligence, Digital Services and Digital Economy, and DigitalEcosystems. He focuses on the dynamic evolution and transformation processes ofinformation systems and digital ecosystems. His approach combines informationscience, system science, and management science, drawing from emerginginterdisciplinary fields such as service science, data science, and cognitive science.His research delves into ecological evolution, structural aggregation,behavioral diffusion, and value creation in networks, crowds, and markets.

  Professor Wualso examines the interactive relationship between digital technology,information systems, digital commerce, organizational operation management, andbusiness transformation. Furthermore, he addresses important socio-humanisticissues in information systems and e-commerce, including information ethics,quality of life, business ethics, and digital governance.

  He haspublished over 140 academic papers in reputable domestic and internationalacademic journals, including “Journal of Electronics Information,” “ComputerResearch and Development,” and “Journal of Management,” among others.Additionally, he has authored seven works in Information Systems andE-commerce, including monographs and textbooks.
