His research areas include Information Systems and Management, Business Process Management and Process Mining, E-Commerce and Business Intelligence, Digital Services and Digital Economy, and Digital Ecosystems. He focuses on the dynamic evolution and transformation processes of information systems and digital ecosystems. His approach combines information science, system science, and management science, drawing from emerging interdisciplinary fields such as service science, data science, and cognitive science. His research delves into ecological evolution, structural aggregation, behavioral diffusion, and value creation in networks, crowds, and markets.
Professor Wu also examines the interactive relationship between digital technology, information systems, digital commerce, organizational operation management, and business transformation. Furthermore, he addresses important socio-humanistic issues in information systems and e-commerce, including information ethics, quality of life, business ethics, and digital governance.
He has published over 140 academic papers in reputable domestic and international academic journals, including “Journal of Electronics Information,” “Computer Research and Development,” and “Journal of Management,” among others. Additionally, he has authored seven works in Information Systems and E-commerce, including monographs and textbooks.
