Professor Zuo,a Ph.D. supervisor, is the dean of the Department of Electronic Business withthe email wmzuo@scut.edu.cn. He has overseen more than 30 projects, includingnational and provincial/ministerial level initiatives. Additionally, he hasbeen involved in significant projects under the National Natural ScienceFoundation and has managed a number of research projects commissioned bygovernment organizations and enterprises such as the Guangdong ProvincialDepartment of Commerce, as well as various design development projects.

  His primaryfocuses have revolved around the exploration of frontier problems anddevelopmental trends within the domains of Data Science and BusinessIntelligence, Electronic Commerce, Digital Business, Digital Economy, SharingEconomy, Service Science, and Consumer Behavior.

  He boasts anextensive publication record of over 80 papers in reputable resources such as“Nankai Business Review”, “China Management Science”, “Journal of ManagementEngineering”, “Management Review”, “Journal of Management”, “ElectronicCommerce Research and Applications”, “Technology in Society”, “Lecture Notes inComputer Science”, “Kybernetes”, “Transportation Planning and Technology”.These publications have been widely cited over 2000 times, with the highestcitation exceeding 380. Furthermore, he has authored 7 textbooks/monographs.

  Professor Zuohas mentored undergraduate and graduate students to achieve prestigious awards.He has also guided numerous Master’s and Ph.D. students to secure nationalscholarships and has overseen a multitude of master’s theses which have beennominated for awards for outstanding master’s theses at the nationalprofessional degree level.
