He also cordially invited Chairman Ye and Ms. Liao to visit SCUT frequently and to share their entrepreneurial experiences with young students, thereby inspiring them to pursue academic excellence and personal growth.

Mr. Huang Guoqing, Party Secretary of the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, expressed gratitude on behalf of the school. He reported on the tangible outcomes achieved through the Liao Qingqing Alumni Fund at the school, noting that the fund has significantly bolstered talent cultivation, upgraded laboratory research infrastructure, and provided solid support for the development of top-tier professionals and key research in chemical engineering. He also outlined the school’s current progress and major ongoing initiatives, expressing the hope for further strengthened collaboration with Salubris Pharmaceuticals.

At the corporate exhibition hall, Chairman Ye Chenghai walked the delegation through Salubris’s entrepreneurial journey and strategic development roadmap. He systematically presented the company’s R&D pipelines for innovative medicines and high-end medical devices, core product portfolios, sustained substantial investment in R&D, and its in-house independent research system. Leveraging the university’s strengths in fundamental research and the enterprise’s industrial translation platform, both sides will complement each other’s resources to generate high-impact research and industrial outputs that address public health needs, and to advance healthcare development through in-depth industry-academia-research integration. SCUT reaffirmed its commitment to providing quality services for its alumni. Taking the Liao Qingqing Alumni Fund as a key vehicle for cooperation, the university will further open channels for joint talent training and co-developed research projects. Salubris Pharmaceuticals looks forward to closer ties with SCUT, particularly with the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, in recruiting outstanding talents majoring in chemical engineering and biomedicine, and in jointly tackling R&D challenges for new medicines and new materials technologies. The partnership aims to achieve mutual empowerment and win-win progress for both university talent cultivation and corporate innovation

This visit further strengthened the bonds between SCUT, its distinguished alumna, and a leading industrial enterprise, laying a solid foundation for collaborative talent development and deep industry-academia-research integration. Going forward, SCUT will continue to promote corporate outreach and university-enterprise engagement, pooling alumni resources to advance the integrated development of education, science and technology, and talent.
