On May 13, 2026, Huang Guoqing, Secretary of the College Party Committee; Zheng Cunhui, Organizer at the Full Division Level; and faculty representatives from the College Alumni Office visited and conducted research at the alumni enterprise Guangzhou Chenyi New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. Yang Jie, Team Leader of the South China University of Technology Dual Hundred Initiative stationed in Heshan, also participated in the visit.

The company's founder and a 2001 master's alumnus of the college, Liu Gang, extended a warm welcome to the faculty from his alma mater and provided a detailed introduction of his personal entrepreneurial journey, the company's core products, its development achievements, as well as the difficulties and challenges the enterprise faces. Secretary Huang Guoqing and his delegation conducted an on-site tour of the company's production and operation facilities and office environment, and engaged in an in-depth and enthusiastic discussion and exchange with alumnus Liu Gang. 

Secretary Huang Guoqing stated that the alma mater will always serve as a strong backbone and warm harbor for the career development of its alumni. He warmly welcomed the alumni enterprise to deepen engagement and pursue pragmatic cooperation with the college in areas such as technological breakthroughs, research commercialization, talent cultivation, and graduate employment. The college will fully leverage its disciplinary, faculty, and talent resource advantages to wholeheartedly support and empower the development of alumni enterprises, achieving mutual benefit and win-win outcomes for both the university and the enterprise.

As a high-tech enterprise integrating scientific research, industrial manufacturing, and trade, the company is dedicated to the development of new materials and specializes in providing customers with customized value-added solutions. Its principal business encompasses: various polyurethane-based adhesives and related compound materials, functional composite materials, and basic raw materials centered on polyurethane technology; as well as the exclusive distribution of CILBOND hot vulcanization adhesives from the United Kingdom for the southern China market.
