To deepen university-enterprise collaboration and promote the integrated development of Party building and professional undertakings, on the afternoon of April 14, 2026, a delegation of eight members, led by Party Secretary Huang Guoqing, Full-level Organizer Zheng Cunhui, Deputy Party Secretary Liu Caigang, and Vice Dean Yu Hao of the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at South China University of Technology, together with the committee members of the Faculty Party Branch of the Department of Chemical Engineering, visited Jiexian Wind Power Co., Ltd., Jieyang, a subsidiary of the State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC), to conduct a joint Party building and university-enterprise cooperation exchange activity with the company's Third Party Branch.
Accompanied by Liu Qinghui, Party Secretary and Director (Legal Representative) of Jiexian Wind Power, Liang Zhengzhao, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager, Wu Ruiyan, Party Committee Member, and representatives of Party members from the Third Party Branch, the delegation first visited the Jieyang Offshore Wind Power Collaborative Innovation Center Exhibition Base of Jiexian Wind Power, gaining an in-depth understanding of the company's advanced achievements in scientific research and technological innovation.

During the symposium, Party Secretary Liu Qinghui and Deputy Party Secretary Liang Zhengzhao respectively introduced the overall scale of the State Energy Group, the technological layout and strategic orientation of Jiexian Wind Power, as well as the major national projects undertaken by the company, explicitly articulating the company's collaborative needs with the School in scientific research and talent development. Party Secretary Huang Guoqing elaborated on the University's current strategic objectives, developmental trajectory, campus distribution, and disciplinary construction achievements, and introduced the University's current directions in promoting university-enterprise cooperation, with particular emphasis on jointly supported initiatives such as joint laboratories, joint training bases, and the Outstanding Engineer Program. Vice Dean Yu Hao provided a comprehensive overview of the School's history, disciplinary development, talent cultivation, and core research directions, and elaborated on the Master of Engineering Management (MEM) non-full-time program in Chemical Engineering, thereby clarifying the conceptual framework for subsequent collaboration between the two parties.
