Introduction:
Name:Ting Fan
Title: Dr.
E-mail: tingfan@scut.edu.cn
Personal homepage:
Supervisor: Master’s Supervisor
Area:
(1) utilization of biomass derivatives
(2) electrocatalytic processes for fuel cells or fuel production
Education:
Ph.D. The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Chemistry 2010-2014
Supervisor: Prof. Zhenyang Lin
B.Sc. Wuhan University Chemistry 2006-2010
Research interests:
The goal of our research is to understand the mechanism of reactions at surfaces or organometallics at the molecular level. We focus on problems in catalysis and material science. We employ computational techniques to design catalysts based on a fundamental understanding of reaction mechanims.
