Abstract:
The ability to achieve asymmetric synthesis and the development of strategies for the synthesis of complex molecules are among the frontiers of organic synthesis. On the other hand, the total synthesis of natural products has always been a hot topic among natural product chemists. In this lecture, we will summarize the progress in asymmetric catalytic reactions and the total synthesis of natural products.
Lecturer's Profile:
Professor Shao Zhihui, Ph.D., is a doctoral supervisor, a national high-level talent, and the dean of the Graduate School of Yunnan University. He obtained his Ph.D. from Lanzhou University in 2004, and from 2004 to 2006, he conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Montreal in Canada.
