The joint practice base by the cooperation between the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering and Dongguan Xin’ao energy

      In order to further build a platform for school-enterprise cooperation and give full play to the advantages of both university and enterprise, the signing and awarding ceremony of school-enterprise cooperation between Dongguan Xin’ao and the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering was successfully held in Shaw engineering hall of South China University of technology on October 26. School Party Secretary Guomin Xu, school deputy secretary Caigang Liu, section chief of the employment guidance center of South China University of technology Dongping Rong, head of the Energy Chemical Engineering Department of the school Guoqiang Guan, deputy general manager of Guangdong Xin’ao company and general manager of Dongguan Xin’ao Tongshan Lu, and onvener of talent stimulation of Guangdong Xin’ao company Yuxi Huang attended the signing and unveiling ceremony. More than 50 student representatives also participated in the activity.

      The ceremony was held in a grand and active atmosphere. Secretary Xu firstly affirmed the rapid development and employment and education concept of Dongguan Xin’ao Gas Co., Ltd. He mentioned that for a university taking the road of university-enterprise cooperation, striving for and relying on the support of enterprises and actively serving the needs of enterprises is the fundamental way to cultivate high-quality skilled talents and realize the rapid development of innovation and entrepreneurship education. He hoped that in the context of the new era, the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering and Xin’ao would have more in-depth and close cooperation in discipline construction, internship and employment, student exchange and other aspects, innovate more cooperation mechanisms, and take a greater step in talent training.

      The general manager of Dongguan Xin’ao, Tongshan Lu, also pointed out in his speech that the future competition would be the competition of talents. The company would cherish this cooperation opportunity, try the best to provide students with a good internship environment, build a talent development platform in line with the new era, and actively explore a new way of combining industry, university and research with the practice base as the starting point.       Witnessed by teachers and students, deputy secretary Liu signed a school-enterprise cooperation agreement with the general manager assistant of Dongguan Xin’ao Haiya Zhang. officially opening a new chapter of school-enterprise cooperation. Subsequently, Secretary Xu awarded the license to the school-enterprise cooperation practice base, and general manager Lu of Dongguan Xin’ao, took over the license on behalf of the company.
