BASF trip, feeling colorful life!
On 16th October, led by the school deputy secretary of the Party Committee, Caigang Liu and the deputy divisional organizer, Li Fan, 23 students from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering went to BASF- Guangdong Shilihe Automobile Industry Group Co., Ltd. (TGPM) Auto Refining Coatings (Foshan)Experience Center and BASF Coatings (Guangdong) Co., Ltd. to visit and learn corporate culture, coating technology, talent recruitment, etc. with the person in charge of BASF.

At the BASF- TGPM’s Auto Refinish (Foshan) Experience Center, Senior Manager of BASF's Asia-Pacific Technology Management, Benjamin, briefly explained BASF's corporate development and corporate culture. Afterwards, students visited the spraying workshop of auto refinish paint accompanied by BASF technicians, having intensive understanding in the use of car refinish paint and the repair process.

In the afternoon, students arrived at BASF Coatings (Guangdong) Co., Ltd. to participate in BASF's "Talent Day" activity.First, the vice president of BASF Asia Pacific Automotive Refinish Coating Solutions, Junxi Ge, introduced BASF's main business operations, industrial distribution and talent needs, and expressed BASF's diverse talent needs and continued focus on employees' career development. And then,the general manager of BASF Coatings (Guangdong) Co., Ltd., Hanming Zhao, introduced BASF Jiangmen production base, which has livable climate and convenient transportation and welcomed all outstanding students to join in. Finally, Deputy Secretary Liu and Organizer Fan exchanged views with Zhao on the advantageous projects of the School of Engineering and Chemistry of South China University of Technology. They mentioned that the school had undertaken many national key projects in coatings, and BASF was particularly the leading company in this field. They believed that the cooperation between the two parties would definitely promote the development of the field. At the mean time, with the outstanding graduates from South China University of Technology, there would be opportunities for in-depth cooperation in internships and recruitment. Relevant Staff from both parties participated in the relevant activities as well .
