"Learning the History of New China " -- the first ideological and political lesson in the spring term of 2021

According to the call for publicity and education on the history of the party, the history of new China, the history of reform and opening up and the history of socialist development, a specific ideological and political lesson was carefully planned by the party committee of the School of Chemistry and Chemical engineering and given to students by the school secretary of the party committee, Guomin Xu, with the theme of "Building a Modern Socialist Country in an All-round Way -- Learning the History of New China" on the 10^th April 2021. Including graduate counselors of the school and graduate students of 2020 class, more than 200 people participated in the event.

In the class, Secretary Xu clearly described the history of new China from four aspects: why to learn the history of new China, the context of the history of new China, the logical relationship of the four histories, and the fundamental experience and laws. Basing on the call of General Secretary and the history of new China, Secretary Xu suggested students to remain true to their original aspiration and to keep their mission firmly in mind on the new journey in the comprehensive construction socialism modernization country.

From the ideological and political study, students were encouraged and promoted to the history of New China and Party. As the consequence, students would establish correct political beliefs and their enthusiasm would be also simulated to actively approach the party organization.
