Since September 2008, Dr Frantisek Hartl has been a professor of Inorganic Chemistry, Department of Chemistry, School of Chemistry, Food Biosciences and Pharmacy, University of Reading, UK. He is also head of the Section Inorganic Chemistry, head of the Research Group “Systems and Analysis”and head of the Molecular Chemistry Section in University of Reading. His main research lines are involved in (a) Development and application of spectroelectrochemical techniques at variable temperatures; (b) Extended redox series of coordination and organometallic compounds; (c) Design, photochemistry and photophysics of different bridged transition metal complexes and (d) Transition metal clusters and mixed-metal alloyed and core-shell nanoclusters. And Since 1984, Dr Frantisek Hartl has published more than 140 papers in J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Chem. Rev., Adv. Mater., PNAS, Chem. Commun., Inorg. Chem., Chem. Eur. J., J. Phys.
