Prof. Shubin Liu was a Senior Computing Scientist,in the Institute of Computing, University of North Carolina, USA. Guest Professor of Hunan Normal University. In 1996,Prof. Liu graduated from the University of North Carolina received a doctorate in physical chemistry. 1998 - 2000, he was engaged in postdoctoral research work at the University of Duke in the United States. Professor Liu's main research direction includes:(1) Density functional reactivity theory (DFRT) and their applications in biological and material science systems; (2) Molecular dynamics modeling and ab initio molecular dynamics; and (3) Quantitative structure-reactivity relationship and applications.
