Inorganic Chemistry, Chemical Biology, Coordination Chemistry, Molecular Catalysis, Bioorganic Frame (BOF) based carbon and functional material with useful properties for energy material chemistry, Porphyrin and corrole macrocycle chemistry.

9/1994 – 7/1997:Ph. D: Department of Chemistry, Zhongshan University (Guangzhou, China) where a Ph. D. degree was conferred in Jun. 1997.Supervisor: Prof. Liang-nian JI, Academician of Academy of Sciences of China.Focus of doctoral thesis: synthesis of chiral metalloporphyrins, molecular recognition of amino acid esters by porphyrin receptors, and the induced circular dichroism of chiral porphyrins.

9/1986 – 7/1989:M. Sc.: Student  in inorganic chemistry in Zhongshan University (Guangzhou, China) where a M. Sc. Degree was conferred in Jul. 

1989.9/1980 – 7/1984:B. Sc.: Department of chemistry, Jiangxi University (Nanchang, China) where a B. Sc. Degree was conferred in Jul. 1984.


Research interests:

The synthesis of porphyrin and corrole functional macrocyclic complexes of biomimetic Chlorophyll, cytochrome P450 and vitamin B12, Self-assembled supramolecular porphyrin and phthalocyanine array with useful properties for energy material and chemistry. Especially metal corrole and porphyrin based catalysts for Oxygen Reduction Reaction (ORR), Hydrogen Evolution Reaction (HER), Oxygen Evolution Reaction (OER), Oxidation of Organic Substrate and Photodynamic therapy.
