On Jan 8th, 2016, the awarding ceremony of the 2015 State Science and Technology Awards (SSTA), which is China’s highest honor in promoting researches and applications of science and technology, were held in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

“Modification technology of alkali lignin and the efficient utilization of papermaking black liquid as a new resource”, a program hosted by Professor Qiu Xueqing’ team, was awarded the STIA Second Prize.
