Hosted by South China University of Technology, the 5th Lingnan Organic Chemistry Forum and the SCUT-LZU Organic Chemistry Bilateral Forum was held in South China University of Technology (Wushan campus) on December 5-6, 2015.
More than four hundred chemists and students in the field of organic chemistry attended this forum, coming from Pearl River Delta area such as Sun Yat-Sen University, Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Guangzhou Institute of Health and other areas. During this forum, more than 30 talks were arranged. Among them, Prof. Yundong Wu from Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School and Prof. Zhenfeng Xi from Peking University conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions about their latest research results in the form of special reports. This forum was positively evaluated and highly appreciated by the attendees.
