The famous Chinese (-Born) American scientist, Professor Zhonglin Wang, is the editor-in-chief of “Nano Energy”. “Nano Energy” is a multidisciplinary, rapid-publication forum of original peer-reviewed contribution on the science and engineering of nanomaterials and nanodevices used in all forms of energy harvesting, conversion, storage, utilization and policy. “Nano Energy” provides a comprehensive coverage of this exciting and dynamic field which joins nanoscience and nanotechnology with energy science.
Invited by the editorial board, Dr. Wu and his group members wrote the article, then buffed it up through several drafts, and finally finished this 27 page paper after half a year’s work. This article comprehensively summarizes the present achievements and the latest progress of inorganic nano-materials/graphene composites as the electrode materials for Li-S battery and SIBs, furthermore, it points out the direction for potential development.
As an associate professor at School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Dr. Wu has engaged himself for 10 years in the researches about nano functional materials, and published more than 50 peer- reviewed papers in international journals such as Nanoscale, Langmuir, JMCC, Jacers et al.
