On July 13th, 2016, the Director of Center of Excellence Building and Environmental Technology, associate Prof., Dr. Vorasun Buranakarn and other five delegates from the school of architecture, Chulalongkorn University paid an academic visit to School of Architecture, South China University of Technology. Executive deputy dean of School of Architecture, Prof. Sun Yimin, vice director of the Department of Architecture, met the delegation. Associate Prof. Su Ping, lecturer Song Gang and Xu Haohao attended the meeting.

Both sides had introduced the history and development of each school respectively and had a discussion on the further cooperation based on the state key laboratory of subtropical building science.

Before the meeting, the delegation had visited the concreate model exhibition of grade 1, the school library, the model lab and other teaching facilities.

Chulalongkorn University, established in 1917, is the oldest and the best university in Thailand. The school of architecture was founded by Prof. Nart Potiprasart in the 1930s is one of the top disciplines at Thailand and Southeast Asian countries.
