On April 18-28, oversea famous teacher project of Ministry of Education, prominent scholar, Prof. Vincent Nadin visited our school, and held a series of activities, including lectures, counseling session and academic trainings.
Prof. Vincent Nadin is a Professor of TU Delft, director of TU Delft-SCUT Research Centre for Urban Systems & Environment (USE), and visiting Prof. of SCUT. This time, under the theme of Urban Planning, he gave us four academic lectures, including " The European Union, cooperation on spatial planning across borders: territorial governance", "Spatial planning and water management: river basin management plans in Europe", " Cultural heritage conservation and the reform of planning in Europe ", "Urban regeneration in the UK ", a counseling session,a teaching exchange and two academic training courses, which were combined with the latest situation of European space planning and his experience of relative projects in Europe, giving our teachers and students a comprehensive and systematic communication, broadening our horizon. Prof. Vincent Nadin was highly praised and appreciated by our teachers and students.
