On Dec. 8^th to 9^th, 2015, School of Architecture and Planning，The University of Auckland, President Prof. Julia Gatley, Vice President Prof. Lee Beattie, Prof. Manfredo Manfredini and Vice dean Prof. Kai Gu visited School of Architecture, SCUT.

In the afternoon of Dec. 8^th, they visited Academician Prof. HE Jingtang's Studio and exchanged ideas with some of our school teachers. In the morning of next day, the guests had a deep communication with Deputy Director YAO Min of International Office, Office Director XIONG Ling of Graduate School, Executive Vice-President Prof. SUN Yinmin of School of Architecture, Vice-President MENG Qinglin and teachers in charge of the Department of Architecture and Department of Urban Planning, in terms of the joint culture, academic exchanges, science and research cooperation, etc, in the meeting room at the JIANZU Red Building. On that day evening, the guests made four excellent academic lectures ofGroup Architects and the Auckland House, Urban growth management and the challenges of implementing high quality urban design in practice: Auckland's approach, Emerging issues in Auckland's public space, and Morphological processes, planning and reality: redeveloping the urban waterfront in Auckland and Wellington.
