On Oct. 31st to Nov. 2nd, 2015, the Chinese Society of Landscape Architecture (CSLA ) was held in Beijing. Prof. LIU Guanping from our school was honored the lifetime achievement award of CSLA, which is the first time for our school fellow to get the top honor in this field.
The CSLA set up the biennial “lifetime achievement award” from 2011, to comment experts who have devoted himself, long-time to promote the landscape research, education, practice, management and so on. The CSLA committee awarded 6 winners including Prof. LIU among 31 applicants in 2015.
Prof. LIU graduated from the School of Architecture, South China University of Technology. He is one of the first local scholars after 1949, who has engaged in the landscape theory research and education for more than 50 years.
