On the morning of Sep. 18th, 2015, Prof. Paul Böhm, Dean of School of Architecture, Cologne University of Applied Sciences(The Cologne University of Applied Sciences is the largest university of Applied Sciences in Germany by number of students.), Prof. Jochen Siegemund, Director of Architectural Design Institute, Dr. Elisabeth Holuscha, Director of international exchange from Cologne University of Applied Sciences paid an academic visit to School of Architecture, South China University of Technology. Our school Vice President Prof. Xiao Yiqiang played host to the guests and presided over a meeting.
At the meeting, Prof. Xiao introduced the basic situation of our school at the aspects of history, development, teaching arrangement, teachers, and international exchange and so on. Prof. Jochen Siegemund exchanged their school methods of student training. Both of them made a deep discussion on the Joint Workshop and joint training and so on.
After the meeting, they visited our school library, the architectural model laboratory and other teaching facilities.
