On 28th of June, the award ceremony of “Beautiful South China - Guangdong Annual Person for Great Contribution” was held in Pearl River Hotel, Guangzhou. Prof. Jingtang He and Prof. Liejun Lee from SCUT are the only two winners in the field of science and technology in Guangdong.
Academician Prof. He, who got a remarkable achievement in architectural design, academic research and education, has worked very hard for teaching, research and practice for a long time.
He conducts a great amount of excellent works which gain International reputation, leads the domestic design tendency and makes a great contribution to the development of architectural science in Guangdong and in China.
The awards, adhering the Guangdong spirit of “honest, credible and efficient” to adopt heroic model, to motivate people to build happy Guangdong, to serve the society and our motherland, is held by Xinhua Monthly, Happiness Guangdong Organizing Committee, etc. There are 23 people were selected from the 500 candidates to won the prize.
