On 5th Dec., 2014, 38 guests from Architectural Services Department (ArchSD) of Hong Kong (HK) visited our school. Director of International Office, Vice President GUO Weihong and teachers of School of Architecture, South China University of Technology (SCUT) met the guests at the 11 floor of LIWU Building.
At the beginning of the forum, Vice President GUO made a welcome speech to the guests, and introduced our school recent achievements. Teachers SU Ping, WANG Shuo and HU Wenbin respectively introduced the BIM, Joint Laboratory of Autodesk BIM-BLM and the dynamics and developments of the green architectures in Pearl River Delta. The leader of the visiting team, Chief Architect of ArchSD of HK, ZHOU Anyuan expressed their gratitude to our school for the considerate arrangement, got more knowledge of mainland affairs and developments through the speeches from our teachers. Meanwhile, he hoped both of us can strengthen exchanges and cooperation, jointly promote the development of green architecture in the future.
After the forum, they had also visited our Sate Key Laboratory of Subtropical Building Science and President HE Jingtang’s studio.
