Recently, Guangdong Leading Group Office of Talented Personnel has released the shortlist of Guangdong Special Support Plan for Cultivating High-level Talents in 2014. Our school Prof. Sun yimin has been selected into the first shortlist, the only one in SCUT. Associate Researcher Li qiong has been selected as outstanding talent among millions of engineering youth.
Prof. Sun yimin graduated from School of Architecture in Harbin Institute of Technology, Ph. D. Prof. Sun's has long engaged in public architecture design, Campus planning and architecture design, urban design.Prof. Sun was selected as national culturist of the "project of talent selection" by Guangdong government and was candidate for the national "Outstanding Youth Foundation”. Being the first Doctor of physical architecture graduated in China, Prof. Sun always believes in applying theory to practice. He enjoys a national prime position in physical architecture research and large national stadium construction. As member of national physical architecture Committee, Prof. Sun has participated in judging, feasibility study, and project argumentation of several national stadium construction projects.
Associate Researcher LI graduated from South China University of Technology(SCUT), Ph.D. in Building Science, has been selected as national Xiangjiang Scholars, the Pearl River Star of Science and Technology in Guangzhou. Her research interests are building and urban simulation, energy-efficient, healthy, and sustainable building design and analysis, thermal comfort, artificial neural network.
