Introduction
Zhu Jingxiang
associate professor in School of Architecture, Chinese University of Hong Kong,  received his education in Southeast university and Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich. Before joined CUHK in 2004, he taught in Southeast University and Nanjing University for 10 years. His professional work has been widely exhibited and won certain significant academic prizes.His research now is in the area of new articulation of structures and space, light-weight building system and sustainable architecture.
Since 2008, he invented innovative prefab light building systems, and applied them for three charity schools and two Eco Nature Reserve bases in Sichuan and Yunnan quake area.
For its unique approach indicated  for reconstruction and sustainable development, Xiasi primary school reconstruction received 2010 WA World Architecture Award First Prize. Professor Zhu Jingxiang himself also won Organizing Committee Special nomination Award of China Architecture Media Awards 2010, and "China Innovator Award" of "Wall Street Journal" Chinese session in November  of 2012.
