Basic Information
Name:FENG Xianhui
Ph.D., Professor
Department of Landscape Architecture, School of Architecture
National Key Laboratory of Subtropical Architecture and Urban Science
South China University of Technology (SCUT)
Area
Prof. Feng’s research focus centers on elucidating the spatiotemporal dynamics and interactive feedback mechanisms within complex urban-rural continuum ecosystems. The research themes encompass urban green space and microclimatic wind dynamics, climate-responsive urban planning and design for ecosystem resilience, sustainable stormwater management systems and nature-based solutions, soil-ecological interactions within urban green spaces, vegetation selection for air quality enhancement and human health benefits, climate-adaptive vegetation dynamics, and, and integrated approaches to sustainable, resilient urban-rural ecosystems through holistic landscape ecological planning.
