Research Center of Intelligent Connected Vehicles

Towards the development of "low-carbon, intelligent, networked, and shared" vehicles in different application scenarios in the future, the Research Center of Intelligent Connected Vehicles (RCICV) has been carrying out theoretical and technical research in cutting-edge fields such as advanced electric drive and touchless charging, integration and optimization of multi-source energy system, environmental perception and autonomous driving, intelligent chassis, intelligent cockpit and service, connected collaborative perception and decision making, V2G interaction, energy-saving management of rail traffic network, onboard V2X wireless communication and so on. RCICV is enhancing the capacity building of intelligent connected vehicles in different application scenarios. Experimental platforms of multi-source energy system, autonomous driving, and intelligent cockpit have been built to serve the development of power electronics, vehicle control units, and planning scheduling systems for intelligent connected vehicles. In RCICV, emerging techniques including semi-physical simulation, deep learning, V2X simulation, and digital twin are cooperatively used to link the development and testing of software simulation, hardware-in-loop, vehicle-in-loop, and environment-in-loop. RCICV aims to promote the industrialization of the above mentioned techniques.
