Yu Tao

Introduction:

Tao YU was born in Kunming, China, on January 11, 1974. He recieved the B.Ing. degree in Electrical Power System from Zhejiang University, China, in 1996 and the Ph.D degree in Electrical Engneering from Tsinghua University, China, in 2003. From 2005 to 2006, he worked as a senior research assistant in the Department of Electrical Engingeering, Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Now he is an associate Processor in the School of Electric Power, South China University of Techonolgy. His special fields of interest include nonlinear control therory, optimization techniques in electric power systems. He has published over 50 papers. From 2004 he has taken charge of one National Natural Science Founds Project, two Guangdong Province Natural Science Funds Projects, one Dongguan Technology plan project and over thirty Science & technology projects of China Southern Power Grid Company.
